Shaista Quddusi, MD
Shaista Quddusi, MD, brings her expertise to Rejuvenate Skin & Wellness Center in Federal Way, Washington. She is board-certified in internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism. She holds a particular interest in diabetes management.
Dr. Quddusi completed her internal medicine internship and residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. She then completed a fellowship in endocrinology and metabolism at the same institution, and rounded out her training as a Senior Research Fellow in metabolism, endocrinology, and nutrition at the University of Washington.
Since 1998, Dr. Quddusi has volunteered as a teacher, mentor, and instructor at the University of Washington Medical Center, and is now a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine. She has been involved in referring patients for state-of the-art research at UW and associated facilities for Type-I Diabetes. She specializes in insulin pump therapy, and continuous glucose monitoring, training, and follow up.
She is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Diabetes Association, Endocrine Society, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, King County Medical Association, and a Board Member for Endocrine Days.
To better serve her patients, Dr. Quddusi is fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi.
